Jazz Band

The Gaither High School Jazz Band became part of the daily curriculum during the 2007-08 school year.  Before 2007, the jazz band was strictly an after-school ensemble that met a few days a week.  During the 2007-08 school year, a second jazz band was created after school consisting mostly of freshmen and sophomores.  This ensemble performs at concerts and District MPA.  Some notable performances for the Jazz Bands include:

Lakeside Jazz Festival (Port Orange, FL): 2011 (Jazz I Superior, most oustanding trumpet section)
